Product Update #9
Catch up on recently shipped code, and what we have coming
Hello community!
Today we released v2021.07.23 with several new features and quite a few improvements. These include custom DNS configuration, improved Kubernetes integration collection, and developer experience improvements. You can see all of the details on GitHub here: https://github.com/opstrace/opstrace/releases/tag/v2021.07.23
The Cortex Operator for Kubernetes continues active development. Today is the first tag applied to the repo: https://github.com/opstrace/cortex-operator/releases/tag/v2021.07.23 If you’re using Cortex on Kubernetes, check it out!
Last week, Seb and JP streamed a live event with CNCF Students, talking about what Opstrace is, how to use it, and how to get involved. It’s probably the most detailed video we have on the installation process yet. If you do watch the video, please let us know what you think on Twitter @opstrace.
And finally, we published 3 blog posts recently. Two of them explain core concepts for Opstrace, and the third chronicles our journey to migrate our website to (the relatively new) Cloudflare Pages:
- What is log aggregation? What can you do with it in Opstrace?
- What is multi-tenancy? And what is a tenant in Opstrace?
- Our journey using Next.js on Cloudflare Pages
Cheers, The Opstrace Team
